It's now the Sawm, or Fasting Month for our muslim friends. And I had this opportunity, to be invited for this sacred Fast Breaking Dinner with the customer along with the bosses. So, for that day, I fasted, really, not eating but sorry I got to drink. The venue would be wonderful, at Menara Kuala Lumpur's 4th Floor named Megaview. Astonishing view of KL and Kg. Baru, but the foods, well, not that up to the height of the tower. Time for all the working level people to have a close look on the bosses. Business talks, nothing interesting other than dollars and cents.

I would bet with my penny inside my pocket right now that everyone still remember Brokeback Mountain (or the gay boys, some would say) from the director Ang Lee. This year he came out with another movie using a novel by the famous Eileen Zhang novel based on chaotic and messed up late 40's Old Shanghai and Old Hong Kong. Not that keen to watch it in cinema, you know lah, those people inside the censorship board are so damn sensitive; China cut away 7minutes and Malaysia boleh-ly cut away 10minutes, and I had a view on the leftovers with Yang. She is so chinese, maybe that why she goes out with me, and she likes Leehom to the max, later I shall explain. Now, the title itself is special. Lust, and caution. Temptation and self control. For the past two days, I was, well, as usual busy.
Busy helping a friend, for convenience sake, lets us call him Chinapek*, paint his new-secondhand apartment. In other words, I was being transformed into a free house-painting labour during the weekend along with other kind-hearted victims. Chinapek's unit would be located on the 8th floor in an apartment/condominium. The painting work started on Saturday 4 evening after he obtained all the paints, brushes and etc.

Soon, kids next door, immediate next door, turned up in front of the grill from outside and started to make friend with Chinapek. Along with these kids, would be an old granny, the mother for these 4 hyperactive toddlers along with an indian guy (who we all presumed, the husband for the lady). I was stunted to see that these kids actually look very chinese without any sign of indian features.These kids cried and made loud noise which made Chinapek frowned a little, "Die loh me, if they keep on crying like that, I gon...

My ex-housemates' wedding. Two of them, after spending years looking at each others, they decided to move on further, upgrading their status and sentenced themselves with a life-time commitment. Made the trip up to Ipoh; where these two from along with Thomas, Brendan and our man from Kuantan - Jeff a.k.a Kuan Fei. Clashed in Ipoh after midnight and had the notorious Ipoh White Chick(en) as supper... Went through another typical a la Chinese wedding... Not forgetting the rated games from the bride maids. Well, I got my cam with me, so I was excluded from these games... Met up with da Family (how we call our gang) members, the infamous twin Hai's, the ABC (alligator-buaya-crocodile) mesmerizing the good old Uni days. Did I mentioned babes? How to start this? Hmmm... Okie, it's about MAKAN (eat in BM)... I was being invited to this lunch organized by the Ms. JacQ along with her colleagues (and I think her boss was there too, wow) and her friends. Disclaimer:- Haven't really finish uploading ALL the photos. Please be kind and patient, I got much more important things to do than uploading your faces for your self adoration! Supposed to be a gathering and then turned out to become a pre-birthday (not forgetting another post-birthday) celebrations for a pair of love birds. Venue, time and participants were determined and highly recommended by the organizer, the love birds couple. It's a japanese buffet, means you pay certain amount of moolah and whack the foods as you wish, just don't waste the foods. For Umai-Ya, you got to order the foods (not from the normal menu) and wait (for some time) before you're served. Hence, I would recommend people to make the massive first order shamelessly. Very fine, fresh and delicious the foods and flushed them down a the chilled Tiger beer during a hot Saturday, the verdict? Awesome. That day, basically it's a zoo in our suite. Sometimes, I wonder, why the girls (especially the chun chun ones) will think of me when they're in deepest shit of all. Is it because of my name? My appearance or whatever, or simply boiled down to a simple word - fate?

Walked to FOM building from FOE building to pick up my paid-for-dinner pack and was looking around for empty seat to feast on my dinner.
A malay girl waved at me, whom I don't even know her, she signalled that I should join her.

The CLS gang tried to have another round of gathering and after some hiccups (as usual), we met at this place, Bruno's Cafe & Restaurant located at the ground floor, Jaya33. (Please lah, go google if you don't have any idea what the heck I am talking about.) Got this place from some hotshot blogger and actually it's the NAME! which attracted me. THE VERDICTS: Plus points 1) Superb pork serving, especially the Grilled Pork. 2) Nice selection of house wine. Shiraz available! 3) Relatively nice ambiance, though it's just beside the roadside but heck, quite windy. 4) Standard pricing for fusion style of cuisine. 5) Can get foie gras, but never try it, I think I am quite lucky for not ordering it. Downsides 1) Other than Grilled Pork, the rest of the dishes would be plainly normal. Ribeye was not that delicious. Beer-battered F&C, no feel. I am summoned scheduled to meet with the GCEO soon, then lots of emails were flying around. From the GM and amongst the colleagues... Telling the selected ones to behave themselves and etc.
Oh. It's confirmed not THE good news as I wish (or as I dream), but merely another tea session with the GCEO, for him to know the staffs better.

So in lieu with that, there are forms to be filled up.
Something like exam tips for the GCEO to prepare himself for our questions, okie, filled in mine and finally, the last question in the questionnaire...

WHAT: BOSET-R; Basic Offshore Survival Escape Training WHERE: CONSIST Center, Hulu Kelang (Somewhere near the Zoo Negara lah!) WHEN: 25 – 28 August 2008 WHY: I wanna become Jackie Chan! Well, it’s for some dramas actually, namely – “I Can Do It.” “I Valued My Customer Part 10001” “I am a Good Leader” yeah, you know I know. HOW: Combination of various courses; practical and theory on skills, knowledge needed for personal dealing with oil & gas companies, i.e. firefighting, CPR, sea survival, escape from submerging helicopter and etc. So, let it be mopping floor or ass-kissing, as long as you need to step your feet on offshore platforms, you need to attend this course. One year and one month ago, I conveyed the message to my GM that I wanted to go for this training, else, it would be super vague whenever the management mentioned they want to conquer all the offshore communication – it’s on paper and on lips without on ground knowledge on the what the fish they’re talking about....

Date: 16 - 21 September 2008 Locations: KL - Chukai, Kemaman, Terengganu - Kerteh, Terengganu - Awana Kijal, Terengganu - Kuantan, Pahang (lost my way there) - Cherating, Terengganu - Chukai, Kemaman, Terengganu - Kerteh Airport (a.k.a.
